Written Test for permits or reinstatement - Monday or Thursday from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Road Test -Monday or Thursday from 8:15 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Motorcycle Road Test - First Monday of every month at 11 a.m. (You must call 502-222-1979 for an appointment for all road tests and information about CDLs).

Requirement for transferring license from another state- License from another state (not expired), proof of address (new checks, bill or lease agreement), unlaminated social security card, and a state certified birth certificate; students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by legal parent.

Requirements for moving from another Kentucky county - proof of address (new checks, bill or lease agreement) and license.

Requirements to apply for Driver's Permit -state certified birth certificate, unlaminated social security cards, under 18 years of age - a legal parent, and over 18, proof of address. Also required, "No Pass, No Drive" school verification form. See page 6 of the drivers manual for more information.
