Thank you for taking the time to visit our campaign website. The next Oldham County Attorney will face some unprecedented challenges. A declining economy, increasing street crime, financial predators, and strained government budgets threaten to diminish our quality of life. I’m running for Oldham County Attorney because I have the experience to meet these challenges, the leadership to recognize and implement solutions, and a passionate commitment to justice. I am going to protect our seniors from predators who prey on their trust for financial gain. I am going to use innovative probation policies to deter criminals from returning to a life of crime. I am going to work with our police, community leaders, and religious leaders to implement creative measures designed to prevent crime before it happens. I have been an FBI Agent, a District Court Judge, and a Trial Lawyer for more than 40 years and have been recognized as a leader by my peers. I’ve spent a lifetime securing justice for those who most need it. I’m running for the office of Oldham County Attorney because I view it as an opportunity to give something back to the community that has been so good for me and my family, and because I see the potential for positive change. I hope you’ll join us in this campaign. I hope you, my neighbors, will let me know what concerns you. Together, we can work to help Oldham County achieve its potential. Thank you for your support. --John
